UMD is 1-0 all-time against Vermont, picking up a 2-1 win on the road.
DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD women’s hockey team was back on track last weekend as they broke out the brooms against WCHA foe Bemidji State.
This Friday, they’ll welcome in an opponent that they haven’t seen since the 2017 season.
The Vermont Catamounts are set to skate into Amsoil for a two-game series with the Bulldogs.

Head Coach Laura Schuler says you can throw the records out the window when game planning because really anything can happen on the ice.
“Traditionally they have been a team that has done really well. Their coach is a very good coach there. They did lose some of their best players to the transfer portal. We saw a couple of those go to the gophers and they’re doing very well there. But at the same time, just looking at video they can be dangerous too. We’re making sure that this week we’re doing what we need to so we’re ready come Friday night,” said Schuler.
Puck drop for game one is set for Friday at 6 PM.
