Fire Destroys Couple’s Home In South Superior
SUPERIOR, Wis. — A family in Superior is without a home after fire ripped through it during the heart of the holiday season.
The fire broke out just before 9 p.m. Sunday on the 4900 block of Finn Road in the Town of Superior.
The wood-framed home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, according to officials.
The husband and wife were sleeping at the time.
A family member told FOX 21 the two got out with only the clothes they were wearing.
One of the residents was evaluated by medical personnel for smoke exposure.
A cause of the fire is under investigation.
The home is a total loss.
