All Aboard The Christmas City Express!

DULUTH, Minn. — Each year holiday memories are made at the North Shore Scenic Railroad with The Christmas City Express.

The experience starts with an interactive story telling of The Christmas City Express book.

Passengers can then climb aboard a festive train for a 30 minute ride to Lake Superior and back to depot.

Kids also get the chance to drop off their letter to Santa and even meet Saint Nick himself!

“Traditions are what the Holidays are all about, we decorate the tree in a certain way, the tree goes in a certain place. It isn’t Christmas until the traditions are completed,” said Ken Buehler, Lake Superior Railroad Museum Executive Director. “And it’s just overwhelming for us at the North Shore Scenic Railroad to know that one of the great family traditions of the Northland is a ride on The Christmas City Express.”

The Christmas City Express runs Friday and Saturday until December 21.
