Person Finds 5 Puppies In Bin; Duluth’s Animal Allies Responds

DULUTH, Minn. — A litter of five puppies was found in a bin on the side of the road Tuesday evening near Animal Allies in Duluth, and the shelter is asking for help in what they called a “holiday miracle.”

While the caretakers at Animal Allies called the initial finding “devasting,” they said it’s a miracle someone stopped to check out the bin on the side of the road, and it’s a miracle all the puppies are alive and appear to be unharmed.

The shelter is asking for donations to help cover the costs of the litter’s journey to adoption.  There is a Venmo account: AnimalAlliesDLH

Animal Allies says 2024 has been an “incredibly difficult” year with rising costs.
