7 Stars Horse Ranch Grateful for Donation From Genereau & Co. Jewelry Store
DULUTH, Minn. — 7 Stars Ranch is feeling grateful after receiving a donation from a local jewelry store.
Genereau & Co. Jewelry hosted a Whiskey and Watches event, with a portion of the proceeds going towards supporting 7 Stars Ranch.
The horse ranch offers programs for youth, military veterans, first responders and their family.
This year, Genereau was able to donate its biggest amount to the ranch since starting the Whiskey and Watches event. That donation, going to a good cause.
“That money is going to go directly to get some veterans through our program. This spring, we’re looking at running about six veterans through our unique year long program, where they’re going to be able to learn some horsemanship skills, compete. And then also give back within both our program and the greater community,” said John Modor, Seven Stars Ranch Program Director.
The co-owner of Genereau says the work 7 Stars Ranch does impacts many people’s lives, and the store is happy to support the ranch’s mission, especially when it comes to veterans.
“We’ve had tons of uncles and family members in the military, so it really hits close to home that once these guys get back and into the new into the world again, this gives them a place to feel comfortable and kind of a meaning. And the work that they do through these horses is incredible,” said Kyle Genereau, Co-Owner of Genereau & Co. Jewelry.
The ranch doesn’t just teach people how to care for and ride horses, it also promotes emotional and physical wellbeing through.
