Zenith Bookstore Shares 2024 Top Selling Books

DULUTH, Minn. — Zenith Bookstore has shared its 24 top selling books for the year 2024.

Around the end of each year, the West Duluth bookstore announces what the most popular books have been at the store that year.

This year the number one spot went to “I Cheerfully Refuse” by local Duluth author Leif Enger.

Many of the 24 top sellers are written by Duluth and Indigenous authors. The Zenith owners say the native section of the store grows each year.

“There’s been such a huge increase in works by indigenous authors. History, fiction, almost in every genre,” said Co-Owner Bob Dobrow. “We just feel it’s super important to have good representation and there’s just so much great indigenous literature out there.”

And to wrap up a season of reading, Zenith Bookstore will be holding a Procrastinators Shopping Event this upcoming Sunday. Store hours will be extended and there will snacks, wine and hot cocoa.
