Puppies Found In Bin Along Road Are Healthy Overall: Animal Allies

DULUTH, Minn. — We have an adorable update on the puppies found in a bin on Tuesday in Duluth.

The puppies were bought to Animal Allies after they were found. They’ve been giving pup-dates on their Facebook page, which have been going viral. Luckily, the pups weren’t too dirty or cold when they arrived so the shelter believes they were found pretty soon after being dumped. The puppies seem to be doing well, except for one pup needing extra care.

“Everybody seemed really happy and healthy, one of the little boy puppies did start having some seizures yesterday morning, so our med team took him overnight to watch. He was on fluids and some medications and so far as of last night and into this morning we haven’t seen anything else but he is still hooked up and being extra monitored. But, beside that they are definitely starting to find their voices, there’s lots of yapping and playing with toys which is really good to see,” said Nicole Facciotto, adoption manager at Animal Allies.

In addition to the five puppies, they also had three stray cats come in Tuesday, totaling eight animals Animal Allies was not expecting. Animal Allies said this year has been difficult for them with rising costs and the amount of animals coming through the doors.
