Winter Solstice Party Held at Ursa Minor Brewing

DULUTH, Minn. — It is officially Winter! And to celebrate the longest night of the year, Ursa Minor Brewing held a Winter Solstice Party.

The winter event started with a Makers Market, where local artists and crafters had booths set up.

Different items were available, from wood crafts, jewelry and paintings.

One vendor was showing off her beeswax candle creations. The artist said markets such as the Winter Solstice Party, allow for creators to get their product out into the community.

“It feels great to get appreciation for the work you do, but it’s also just so fun to see what people connect with, and to hear their stories.” said Owner of Witch Crafts, Abby Seachrist.

The event also had outdoor games, a fire show and live music later in the day.
