Gophers Safety Koi Perich Named to “Sporting News” All-American Second Team

The Golden Gophers finished the regular season with a 7-5 record.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- In college football, Esko native Koi Perich was named All-American second team by The Sporting News on Monday, December 18th.

Perich also earned First team All-Big Ten honors on defense with 42 total tackles, 5 interceptions, and 1 forced fumble on the year.

The Golden Gophers finished the regular season with a 7-5 record.

Minnesota’s season isn’t done yet, they face Virginia Tech on January 3rd in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.
