Embark Supported Employment Acquires Twin Ports Guardianship

SUPERIOR, Wis. — As the calendar turned to the new year, Embark Supported Employment acquired a fellow disability service organization.

Embark Supported Employment offers support and resources to adults with disabilities.

The organization has a staff of job coaches who bring participants into the community to complete jobs.

On January 1, Embark Supported Employment is officially became a partner and the owner of Twin Ports Guardianship, which also offers services to people with disabilities.

The Executive Director of Embark says the two organizations share a lot of the same participants.

“I have a vision of us kind of becoming a one-stop shop for adults with disabilities in our community,” said Shawna Anderson, Embark Supported Employment Executive Director. “We can help you with employment, we can help you with guardianship, we can help you with payee services. We can help you with all the things you need to be an adult in the community, but  you might need support for.”

Embark Supported Employment offers support to over two dozen adults who have intellectual or developmental disabilities.
