DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD men’s hockey team opened up a two-game series with Alaska Fairbanks on Friday night.
The game went into overtime after the score was tied at two. That’s where the two teams settled for the tie.
Aaron Pionk and Carter Loney each had a goal in the contest.
It marked the first meeting for the two programs since the 2021-2022 season.
