Kleber & Plante Win Gold at 2025 IIHF World Juniors

Plante scored once and had two assists in Sunday's 4-3 win over Finland.

DULUTH, Minn.- It was a night to remember for two current Bulldogs on Sunday.

Both Adam Kleber and Max Plante claimed Gold at the IIHF World Juniors.

But the gold didn’t come without a little bit of drama.

Team USA and Finland went into overtime with the game tied at 3. That’s where Teddy Stiga played hero, netting the game-winning goal on a brekaway.

Plante also scored in the contest and had two assists.

The two are set to return back to UMD this upcoming weekend when the Bulldogs host the Huskies of St. Cloud State.
