Wonder Wednesdays at Great Lakes Aquarium

DULUTH, Minn.– Aquatic enthusiasts are fighting that midweek slump feeling by participating in this weekly winter event.

Wonder Wednesdays is a winter long event put on by the Great Lakes Aquarium. They’re offering admission reduced to six dollars all day every Wednesday

It’s giving both kids and adults the opportunity to warm up and enjoy the exhibits.

There are also educational opportunities kids can participate in.

Being able to put on this discounted day of fun means a lot to the staff.

“Oh, it’s awesome! Absolutely, one of the best sounds we can have here is hearing the children laugh and having fun. You know, especially when you’re having fun with what we have, you’re learning. And so, they’re not only are they having a great time, and getting out of the house, but they’re learning about the wonderful world around us,” said Jay Walker, Executive Director at the Great Lakes Aquarium.

Both members, and nonmembers can participate in Wonder Wednesdays. The aquarium will be continuing this program until February 26th.
