Duluth Hillside Stabbing Suspect In Custody, Charges Pending

DULUTH, Minn. – Duluth Police say a man is in custody with charges pending for 1st Degree Assault, after a stabbing today in Duluth’s Hillside neighborhood.

A 24-year-old was booked into the St. Louis County Jail today, pending charges for 1st Degree Assault, according to a statement by the Duluth Police Department.

Officers responded to 100 block of East 3rd St around 12:22 pm, for reports of a stabbing. Upon arriving at the scene, they reported that “one individual sustained a stab wound and was transported to a local hospital by Mayo Ambulance.”

Duluth Police confirmed to FOX21 that there was only one victim; however, their condition was still unknown at the time of publishing.
