Minnesota Safety Koi Perich Named FWAA Freshman All-American

ESKO, Minn.- Another honor for Esko native Koi Perich as he was named by the Football Writers Association of America as a All-American Freshman.
Perich played in 13 games this season for the Gophers, tallying 46 tackles and five interceptions.
This is the 11th honor he’s received this season as he’s also been named All-Big Ten first team and second team.
Perich and the Golden Gophers went 8-5 overall this year, including a 24-10 victory over Virginia Tech in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.
