Superior Police Find Shooting Victim at Hospital

The victim suffered a non-life-threatening wound to his arm

SUPERIOR, Wisc. – Superior Police say a man is in custody for shooting that left another man with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police responded to the 3800 block of Tower Avenue around 10:00 pm Thursday evening for reports of a disturbance. Those at the scene told officers they heard a disturbance before a single gunshot.

While investigating the scene, officers learned that a man had gone to the Essentia Hospital in Superior with a gunshot wound to his arm.

Police met with the man, who told them that he was shot by another individual who lived in the same apartment complex as him. The suspect was apprehended and remains in custody at the Douglas County jail.
