Lincoln Park Business Advocacy Groups Merge
Duluth Minn. — Lincoln Park Business Group and Ecolibrium3’s Main Street Program are formally merging.
The groups already work together on projects for the Lincoln Park area.
The merger also helps strengthen their advocacy.
While both have been a driving force for development, a singular group simplifies their support.
“It gets confusing because it’s like with children, you know, mom and dad. And the reality is, as the kids always go to whichever one they can get the better answer from; by working together and knowing that we’re working together and understanding that we’re working together, they can’t pit mom and dad against each other, and it’s just becoming a unified source for the growth of Lincoln Park.” said Stephanie LaFleur, President of Lincoln Park Business Group.
Unifying their advocacy and operations really just refines their services.
People can go to just one agency and get the answers they need.
“Most of the merger is really behind the scenes. We’ve been working together for years. Behind the scenes, what you’re going to see is you’re going to see kind of clarity of brand in the district, clarity of messages, and then also greater support of businesses, because they will know with this combined organization exactly who can meet their needs.” Said Jodi Slick, CEO of Ecolibrium3.
It is important to note, only Eco3’s Main Street Lincoln Park Program is merging with the Lincoln Park Business Group.
Eco3 as a whole will continue providing its services independent of that program.
