Lake Superior Zoo Experiences Main Water Break
DULUTH, Minn.– Lake Superior Zoo experienced two broken pipes on Wednesday night.
This resulted in flooding from the ceiling in several areas of the main building.
No animals or staff were injured from the flooding.
Staff ran several large fans to help dry out portions of the affected areas.
Only one side of the lower level had to be closed, as crews responded to the standing water.
Lake Superior Zoo remained open Friday, but at a reduced price.
