Free Air Life Co. Reopens in New Lincoln Park Location

DULUTH, Minn. — A popular Duluth clothing store has reopened in a new location after a two-year hiatus.

Free Air Life Co. held its grand opening for its new location on Saturday.

The store is now inside the Zenith Basecamp building in Lincoln Park. It’s filled with items that are sustainable and support outdoor adventure.

The name, Free Air Life, comes form a Scandinavian saying that centers around getting outdoors and exploring.

The stores co-owners say the Lincoln Park community has welcomed them back with open arms.

“We’ve been two years out of the game, but we’ve tried to stay alive and just keep telling our stories periodically and so this really does mean a lot, because this neighborhood is really special, and there’s so much good stuff happening,” said Sarah Steinbach, Co-Owner of Free Air Life Co.

The co-owners of the store hope to share their passion for adventure and being out in nature with their community.

“So whether that’s walking around Lincoln Park or walking on the Superior Hiking trail or whatever form of being in nature looks like to you. And we want just people to embrace whatever nature means to them and how they can enjoy it,” said Sarah Pohl, Co-Owner of Free Air Life Co.

Free Air Life Co. is open daily, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
