Girls Hockey: Lightning Overcome Early Deficit to Comeback in OT Win Versus Northern Stars

Grand Rapids/Greenway improves to 17-5-1 and will next host Hibbing/Chisholm on Friday.

DULUTH, Minn.- The Duluth Northern Stars continued their recent tough schedule by hosting Grand Rapids/Greenway on Tuesday night.

After taking a 2-1 lead into the first intermission, Duluth saw their lead slip away as the Lightning scored in the 3rd and then just 36 seconds into overtime to win 3 to 2.

Grand Rapids/Greenway improves to 17-5-1 and will next host Hibbing/Chisholm on Friday.

As for Duluth (9-8-5), they’ll get back on the ice on Wednesday to play Superior.
