Winter Market Thursdays at Holiday Center Downtown
DULUTH, Minn. — The Holiday Shopping Center kicked off a new weekly winter market.
From pottery to puzzles, to gifts and art by indigenous artists, the market gives a sampling of what local small businesses have to offer.
It brings together the vendors as well as gets the word out about these shops.
“This market is super fun because we get to see all the other different vendors and all the other downtown Duluth artists.” Shared Khayman Goodsky, Indigenous First Coordinator at Indigenous First Gift Shop, “We’re here tabling because we want to get the word more out about our shop. We feature over 150 indigenous to BIPOC artists, and whether that’s artists, authors, food producers, fashion designers, apparel designers, home and health beauty makers. We feature a lot of different artists in our shop, and we want to kind of spread the word.”
The market takes place every Thursday from 11am to 1pm until March 6th.
The vendors and their offerings will change from week to week.
Next week’s market is February 13th and will have a focus on Valentines Day gifts.
