Wide World of Wings Preparing for Super Bowl Sunday

SUPERIOR, Wis. — With Super Bowl Sunday just three days away, Wide World of Wings in Superior is gearing up for the Super Bowl rush.

With wings being a popular football snack, the chicken wing shop serves up thousands of wings on the day of the big game.

To prepare, staff is increased and extra wings are ordered ahead of time.
The restaurant also encourages people to order ahead, which avoids a big rush on Sunday.

With over 35 sauce flavors to choose from, staff says honey bbq, buffalo and garlic parmesan are always stables on game day.

“I feel like wings and football have also gone hand and hand together, it’s an easy grab food even though they can get messy. They’re not super big like how a burger would be where you’d have to use both hands, you can use one hand. It kind of works well for big parties to have as appetizers if you’re having a whole bunch of items,” Destiny Buhr, Wide World of Wings Manager said.

The restaurant will have its Sunday football special running, which consists of 50 chicken wings.
