Mirage Defend Section 7A Crown for 5th Straight Year in Win Against Rock Ridge

CLOQUET, Minn.- The Proctor/Hermantown Mirage girls hockey team is once again champions in Section 7A.
On Wednesday, the Mirage defeated the Rock Ridge Wolverines 6 to 1 in the section title game.
Proctor/Hermantown was led by Jane Eckstrom, who had two goals in the victory.
This is the 5th straight year that the Mirage have won the section title and advanced to the state tournament.
The team will learn who their first round opponent at state is over the weekend.
