Last Second Goal By Webster Lifts Hayward Girls Hockey Past Superior

Olivia Webster scored the game-winning goal for the Hurricanes.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- It was a matchup of two of the best area teams in Wisconsin on Thursday night as Superior hosted Hayward in girls hockey.

In the end, the Hurricanes reigned supreme as they extended their winning streak to 11 games with the 3 to 2 victory.

Olivia Webster scored the game-winning goal with two seconds left for the Hurricanes.

Hayward goes into the playoffs with an 18-5-1 record. They’ll host Medford on February 20th.

As for Superior (18-5), they’ll play Western Wisconsin in their regular season finale on Friday.
