Elementary Students Bring Flowers to Seniors for Valentine’s Day

SUPERIOR, Wis. — Students in Superior were spreading love and joy on this Valentine’s Day.

A Twin Ports radio station Life 97.3  and the Northern Lights Elementary Kindness Club partnered to bring flowers to seniors.

The club visited New Perspectives Senior Living, putting smiles on many faces.

With flowers from Artistic Florals by Leslie, the kids hoped to spread love through a simple gesture.

“So the Kindness Club is just kind of an outreach to encourage kindness in schools and trickling out into our families and into our community, we really do just need to be a little more kind in the world we live in,” Niki Corbin with Life 97.3 said.

It was the first year that the Kindness Club has given flowers to seniors. The club hopes to spread the message that love isn’t just about words, but about action.
