Prep Boys Basketball: Duluth Denfeld & Hermantown Earn Spots in Section 7AAA Semifinal Round

The section 7AAA semifinal round is set for Friday, March 7th.

DULUTH, Minn.- The prep boys basketball playoffs tipped off in section 7AAA on Wednesday night.

The top-seeded Duluth Denfeld hosted Chisago Lakes in the quarterfinal round.

The Hunters defended their home court as they defeated the Wildcats 80 to 56 to secure a spot in the section 7AAA semifinal round.

Duluth Denfeld will host Grand Rapids on Friday, March 7th, in the semifinal round.

Tip-off is at 6 p.m.

On the other side of the section 7AAA bracket, Cloquet took on Hermantown.

The Hawks upset the Lumberjacks 74 to 64 to advance to the semifinal round.

Hermantown will travel to Hibbing on Friday, March 7th, to take on the Bluejackets.
