State Boys Hockey: Hibbing/Chisholm Routs Luverne in Class A Quarterfinals

Hibbing/Chisholm advances to the semifinals on Friday to face either Northern Lakes or East Grand Forks.

ST. PAUL, Minn.- The Hibbing/Chisholm boys hockey team scored early and often on Wednesday in their class A quarterfinal matchup against Luverne.

Tate Swanson found the back of the net just 1:12 in the first and that turned out to be all the Bluejackets needed. Six goals ensued after that as Hibbing/Chisholm won 7-0.

Swanson had two goals total to lead the team offensively.

Hibbing/Chisholm advances to the semifinals on Friday to face either Northern Lakes or East Grand Forks. Puck drop is at 1 PM.
