Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Hosts Career Fair

CLOQUET, Minn. — Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College hosted a career fair Wednesday morning, connecting students with future opportunities.

Around 750 high school students attended the 28th annual Career Awareness and College Fair.

Students could connect and learn about future career opportunities from over 50 local businesses and industries, such as law enforcement and the medical field.

Students could also learn about what programs regional colleges provide.

“Whether it’s Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College or one of the other 20 colleges or universities that come today to dream with students, we’re just happy to get students to be thinking about their future. And the thing to do is follow up with a tour at one of the schools that really catches your interest,” Josh Cleveland, FDLTCC Admissions Officer said.

The career fair also serves as a way to motivate students in their studies at high school and to provide a framework for their future careers.
