Gitchee Gumee Tattoo Holds Flash Sale for Animal Allies
DULUTH, Minn. — Gitchee Gumee Tattoo held its first flash sale event of the year supporting Animal Allies Humane Society.
It was the fourth time the tattoo shop has partnered with Animal Allies for the sale. People could choose from a variety of designs all centered around animals.
For each flash sale, 50% of all proceeds are donated directly to a local organization. Each year the sale has brought in over 1 thousand dollars for Animal Allies, and this year the goal was to surpass that.
“Every flash sale we get to meet different community organizations, find different ways to not only help the community, but also be a part of bringing tattoos and tattooing into that social realm of it being a philanthropy thing,” said Emma Soule, the shop manager.
Gitchee Gumee Tattoo will be holding three more flash sale events this year, including partnering with the Lake Superior Zoo and United Way. Other organizations are encouraged to reach out about getting involved.
