Ontonagon Fighting Miners 18U Team Wins State Championship

The team is made up of players from Hurley all the way up to the U.P.

BURTON, Michigan.- The Ontonagon Fighting Miners 18U hockey team finished their season with the top prize.

Over the weekend, they recently traveled to Burton, Michigan for the state championship.

The team, who is made up of players from Hurley all the way up to the Upper Peninsula, defeated Belle Tire 4 to 2 to win the state title.
