Rally Against Trump Administration Held in Superior
SUPERIOR, Wis. –Dozens of protesters rallied together in Superior on Friday, making their voices heard against President Trump and his administration.
People with signs filled the corner of Belknap Street and Tower Avenue. Some of the those signs reading “hands off social security” and “protect veteran benefits.”
Many signs also showed support for Susan Crawford, the Democratic-backed candidate for Wisconsin Supreme Court.
The rally was one of many in recent weeks across the northland.
“Every event is growing, people are obviously upset and they are willing to take action, so constituents need to band together and share their voices and support the elected officials that are trying to do their best and put pressure on the GOP that is doing nothing,” protester Renita Petite said.
People at the rally also took part in chants, such as “Elon Musk has got to go.” Some cars driving by also showed their support by honking.
