Planning a Spring DIY? Borrow Tools from One Roof

DULUTH, Minn. — If you’re getting ready to start spring projects, One Roof has your back.

They have a free tool rental library that anyone can rent from.

Tools and equipment from Plumbing and electrical, to saws and lawn care are available.

They do give the manuals with the tools, so users know how to operate them.

Some more popular tools like their power washer can end up with a waitlist so it’s better to get on those projects sooner than later.

“It means an awful lot to be able to see people achieve some of their dreams without having to spend a lot of money,” said Mary McMahon, Administrative Associate for 1Roof, “When people come in, actually, once they’re done with the project, they bring me pictures to show me of all the projects that they’ve done and have told me the money that they have saved by being able to, you know, use one of our tools, especially tools like our table saw, which is quite expensive to buy.”

To borrow the tools, you just need to go to the One Roof website, check their library for the tools you need, download the rental agreement, and set a pickup and drop off time.
