TownePlace Suites by Marriot holds Opening Celebration

DULUTH, Minn — The TownePlace Suites by Marriot held its Grand Opening ceremony today.

The grand opening had live music, food, and let people tour the building.

Catering to extended stays with amenities from kitchenettes with cook tops to guest laundry, this hotel makes staying for a while feel a little more like home.

They have the standard hotel offerings as well including a heated pool, 24/7 fitness center, and complimentary breakfast.

They opened back on January 23rd and have been doing well.

“Business has been good. We’re steadily picking up, gaining our customer base. We sold out on a couple of weekends, but we’re definitely getting there in occupancy” said Daniel Jokinen, General Manager, “Seeing all the hard work and down from the studs and really seeing come together has been very rewarding”

It’s a great spot for nurses, people temporarily displaced, longer vacation stays, and more.

They also have pet friendly suites for families that don’t want to leave their furry friends behind.
