“Rocket Deli” Soft Launches with Limited Menu
DULUTH, Minn. — A new business soft launched this week in downtown Duluth that’s offering a taste of New York.
It’s called “Rocket Deli” and is next to Blacklist Brewing Company on Superior Street.
Right now, the deli is open with a limited menu which features a small selection of Reuben, club, and pastrami sandwiches and salads.
But when “Rocket Deli” fully opens, the owner says that visitors can expect customizations with their sandwiches and ability to order specific ingredients to take home.
“We just want to kind of get up and going just to see what people think about the sandwiches and different items that we’re going to be offering,” said Robert Giuliani, the owner. “The concept has been in the works for few years, and finally decided that we would go with it. And yeah, we’ve been open for six days, and people are coming in and trying the sandwiches. It is a limited menu right now, until we actually get the full menu out.”
The owner says that they are waiting for some equipment to be able to open with a full menu. They expect to be fully operational this May.
