Spring Equinox Craft Fair Happening in Cloquet This Weekend
DULUTH, Minn.–Even with the weather looking to be less than spring-like this weekend, there’s no stopping the Spring Equinox craft fair!
32 vendors at the Cloquet Armory are putting finishing touches on their booths.
Many of the vendors are looking forward to displaying their projects but also connecting with the community.
The event began this afternoon at three and continues until eight PM…and is 21 years and up because of the wine bar tonight.
And then on Saturday, it’ll be open to all ages from 9 AM to 3 PM.
The organizer told us, shopping at the craft show can be crucial for some.
“It’s really important, sometimes it’s their only income, and society today is corporate and corporate and corporate. If you shop local, it stays local. So, you have all of the opportunity to have again, fundraisers, events and portions that give back, so it’s super huge,” explained Noelle Parker, the host for the Spring Equinox craft fair.
A lot of the vendors take pride in donating portions of their earnings to local organizations.
Noelle Parker, the host of the event will be helping out Happy Tails Veterinary clinic.
And proceeds from the wine bar tonight will be going towards PEO, an organization that supports women and education.
