Annual Taste at Fitger’s Event Returns
DULUTH, Minn. — Hundreds of people packed into Fitger’s Friday evening for a popular annual event.
Taste at Fitger’s sees local restaurants and beverage vendors serving up their best dishes.
The event raises hunger awareness and 100% of the proceeds go towards Second Harvest Northland Food Bank, which is the regions largest hunger-relief organization.
Taste at Fitger’s started 30 years ago, and remains a popular event in the northland each year.
“It gives everyone an opportunity to try something, maybe from a restaurant you haven’t been too, one of your favorite restaurants,” Tami Tanski-Sherman, Mall Manager at Fitger’s said. “We expect about 300 people tonight and we have about 36 vendors, food and beverage.”
People attending the event could even vote on their favorite appetizer, entrée, dessert and table décor
