KindredHeart Brings a Touch of Tranquility to Tower Avenue
SUPERIOR, Wis. — A new shop on Superior’s Tower Avenue is looking to make a difference in the community.
KindredHeart has been open for the last 3 weeks now. The owner Mikinzie Schilling is a registered Holistic Therapist, and has always dreamed of having her own space for others to use.
The storefront acts as an art gallery and a sales floor for 11 different local artist. They sell jewelry, clothing, skincare products, dream catchers, and artwork.
Schilling is also a certified astrologer and performs tarot readings. Her hope is that KindredHeart becomes a place for people to relax, and block out the negative things that happen that are out of our control.
“I think that it’s so needed to find a place of just healing,” said Schilling. “We have people that come in here just to sit at this point, and I think that’s lovely. I love to hear that people feel at ease and feel at peace here, because with everything that’s going on in the world right now, and there’s a lot, people need to find harmony somewhere, peace somewhere.”
KindredHeart is open every Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
