UMD Men’s Hockey Adds Goaltender Cole Sheffield to Roster

Sheffield comes from the Dauphin Kings of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

DULUTH, Minn.- It’s been mostly subtractions instead of additions for the UMD men’s hockey team this off-season.

However on Wednesday, the team made a key roster move bringing in goaltender Cole Sheffield.

Sheffield comes from the Dauphin Kings of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

In 47 games played, he had a saves percentage of 92 percent, a goals against average of 2.37, and lastly a record of 30-14 with two shutouts.

He’s set to join a goaltender room with Klayton Knapp and Adam Gajan next season.
