UMD’s Caitlin Kraemer Earns USCHO Rookie of the Year Honors
Kraemer tallied 30 points this past season.
DULUTH, Minn. – UMD forward Caitlin Kraemer was named the USCHO rookie of the year on Thursday.
Kraemer tallied 18 goals in her first season with the Bulldogs, which led all freshman nationally.
She also recorded 13 assists for a total of 31 points.
The Waterloo, Ontario Native earned the HCA 2025 Julie Chu Rookie of the Year a few weeks ago.
Kraemer is the first freshman Bulldog to record 30 points since Gabbie Hughes in the 2018-19 season.
She and the Bulldogs made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament where they fell to Cornell University 1 to 0 ending their season with a record of 22-15-2.
