David Boitz Steps Down as President of Hockey Operations for Wilderness

Boitz served a number of positions for the Wilderness, including general manager and head coach over the 12 seasons.

CLOQUET, Minn.- David Boitz has been with the Minnesota Wilderness since the team joined the NAHL in 2013.

After 12 years with the team though, he’s decided to step down.

Late on Sunday night, the team announced the president of hockey operation’s decision.

Boitz served a number of positions for the Wilderness, including general manager and head coach over the 12 seasons.

As part of the transition, current head coach Zach Stepan is set to assume leadership duties for the team. He’s been with the squad since November.
