UMD Triple Jumper William Heydt Named NSIC Field Athlete of the Week

DULUTH, Minn.- A triple jumper for UMD earned NSIC conference honors on Monday.

William Heydt is the Field Athlete of the Week after he finished 1st at the Wartburg Outdoor Select.

He finished with a leap of 14.74 meters, which ranks in the top 20 for Division II jumps this season.

Heydt is coming off a successful indoor season in which he took 5th in the NSIC championships with a jump of 14.76 meters.
