UW-Superior Sweeps Track & Field Weekly UMAC Honors

UWS is next in action on Saturday at the Saint Mary's Invite.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- A track and field duo on the UW-Superior men’s squad swept the UMAC weekly conference honors.

Earl Foster is the Field Athlete of the Week after winning the javelin throw at the Ashton May Invitational. His best throw was 55.30 meters.

His teammate, Jesse Ortiz is the track athlete of the week after pr’ing in the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash.

He placed 3rd and 4th respectively in those races.
