Wilderness Playoff Hopes Come to an End Despite 3-1 Win Over Jr. Blues
The Wilderness finished the year 30-25-4.
CLOQUET, Minn.- The Minnesota Wilderness welcomed in the Jr. Blues to close the regular season with their playoff hopes on the line.
To secure the final playoff spot in the Midwest Division the Wilderness needed to defeat the Jr. Blues and the Chippewa Steel needed a regulation loss against the Anchorage Wolverines.
The Wilderness earn the win 3 to 1 over the Jr. Blues to leave their playoff hopes in the hands of the Steel.
Unfortunately, the Steel defeated the Wolverines 6 to 3, ending the season for the Wilderness.
The Wilderness finished the year 30-25-4.
