Former UMD Defenseman Will Francis Makes AHL Debut with San Diego Gulls
Francis wrapped up his Bulldog career over a month ago and just a week after the season, he signed with the Gulls.
SAN DIEGO, C.A.- The comeback story of former UMD defenseman Will Francis continues to get better and better.
On Sunday, the three-time cancer survivor suited up for the San Diego Gulls, making his AHL pro debut in a game against the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
Francis wrapped up his Bulldog career over a month ago and just a week after the season, he signed with the Gulls.
Francis and San Diego went on to win the contest 4 to 3 in overtime.
