Hermantown Native & Avalanche Defenseman Wyatt Aamodt Nets First Career NHL Goal
Aamodt's goal came in the 3rd period of Sunday's 4 to 2 Avalanche win over the Ducks.
ANAHEIM, C.A.- It was a memorable weekend for Hermantown native and current Colorado Avalance defenseman Wyatt Aamodt.
Aamodt made his NHL debut on Saturday when the Avs took on the Los Angeles Kings.
Then just a day later, he found the scoring column, netting his first career goal in the 3rd period of a 4 to 2 win over the Anaheim Ducks.
The former Hawk also had three shots on net, nine blocked shots and six hits on the weekend.
Aamodt was then sent back down to the Colorado Eagles of the AHL on Monday morning.
