Jordon Johnson Announces Campaign for Duluth City Council Seat
DULUTH, Minn. — A candidate has announced his run for Duluth city council at-large.
Jordon Johnson, was born and raised in Duluth. He is the former executive director of Life House. In 2024 he ran for Minnesota House District 8A.
Johnson says he would bring accountability and transparency to the council, with a focus on fair and accessible housing, economic development and community safety.
‘There’s value to building relationships with people, that I take really close to heart and for me that’s what it means to be a city councilor is to really listen, care for and value what we have here in Duluth, to offer not only our neighbors but also people who might want to come and be a part of our city,” Johnson said.
The primary election is August 12, and the general election is November 4.
