Hermantown Baseball Celebrates Opening of Fichtner Field with Shutout of Denfeld

HERMANTOWN, Minn.- The Hermantown baseball team held their first game at the newly renovated Fichtner Field on Wednesday.

Quite the celebration as they came away with a four to nothing shutout victory against Duluth Denfeld.

The Hawks were led by River Freeman, who went all seven innings on the mound and only gave up a hit.

Jacob Evanson went two for three with three runs batted in offensively.

Hermantown (1-0) will next host Proctor on April 22nd.

Duluth Denfeld (0-4) is hosting Chisago Lakes on Friday.
