Police Seize Drugs, Ammo with Search Warrant; Suspect in Custody
DULUTH, Minn. — A search warrant conducted Tuesday morning lead to the seizure of over 100 grams of suspected meth and 100 grams of cocaine in Duluth.
This happened around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15.
The Duluth Police Department, Hermantown Police, and the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force collaborated together to execute a search warrant on the 700 block of North 7th Avenue East.
The suspect for the warrant was for a Duluth man who was detained during a traffic stop away from his residence. The suspect and was in possession of 137 grams of suspected meth, 40 grams of cocaine, and $1,980 at the time of the traffic stop.
At the suspect’s residence, the agencies found an additional 62 grams of cocaine, 3 grams of meth, and $2,956 along with numerous different types of ammunition, several digital scales, and other evidence of drug sales.
The suspect was lodged at the St. Louis Count Jail on 1st Degree Sale of Meth, 1st Degree Sale of Cocaine, and Felon in Possession of Ammunition, along with a DOC warrant.
