Neal Pionk & Winnipeg Jets Agree to Six-Year Contract Extension

HERMANTOWN, Minn.- Hermantown native Neal Pionk has made the most of his opportunity in the NHL.
He’s currently in his 7th season as a pro and with the current deal he just signed, there’s plenty more of hockey in his future.
On Thursday, Pionk and the Winnipeg Jets agreed on a six-year, 42 million dollar contract extension.
So far this season, he’s tallied 39 points in 69 games. He’s also paired up with fellow Bulldog Dylan Samberg on the 2nd line for the Jets.
Pionk and Winnipeg will begin postseason play on Saturday when they host the St. Louis Blues.
