Former Huskies Pitcher Logan VanWey Makes MLB Debut with Houston Astros

VanWey played for the Huskies in the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

HOUSTON, Texas.- It’s been a memorable week for former Duluth Huskies pitcher Logan VanWey.

The right hander made his major league debut back on April 11th for the Houston Astros.

He proceeded to throw two shutout innings against the Angels, striking out one batter and not allowing a hit.

VanWey has since appeared in two games for H-Town and currently has a 2.70 ERA.

He played for the Huskies in the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
